Inspirational story, shared by Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat Hospitals, about Ajay Kumar,

Ajay Kumar 21 year old man, who regained his ability to walk again after 6 years, suffered from a severe
case of paralysis from the age of 14. For 6 years he was bedridden and relied on his brother, Vijay Kumar,
for full support, as he was unable to move. His arms and legs were both very stiff, to the point that he
could not even get out of the bed without support, and he could never imagine being able to walk again.

After going to many doctors in Pratapgarh, Allahabad and even Delhi, for various treatments, Ajay did not
see any signs of improvement in his condition. Coming from a poor background, his family struggled to
continually spend money on his treatments, which had not helped with his condition. After spending 2.5
lakh rupees on treatment, a friend told Ajay about Jagadguru Kripalu Chikitsalaya (JKC) hospital at
Mangarh, and its completely free services.

The Jagadguru Kripalu Chikitsalaya (JKP Hospital) at Mangarh was founded by Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji
Maharaj in 2003. Here Ajay received naturopathic treatment from Dr. Amrita Mishra, physiotherapy from
Dr. Santosh Vaijwade, as well as acupressure and massage from Dr. Edward Radhey, all free of cost.
Together, these doctors got Ajay out of the wheelchair and onto his own feet, walking again, happier than
ever before. The entire treatment lasted 6 to 7 months and, with continual efforts made by Ajay himself
and his doctors, today (23 January 2012) he can be seen walking on his own , unsupported.

Ajay returned to Jagadguru Kripalu Chikitsalaya, Mangarh, to thank his doctors and the other staff
members involved in his treatment. His family is grateful for what Jagadguru Kripalu Chikitsalaya had done
for Ajay. If it weren't for the free medicines and free treatments provided by Jagadguru Kripalu
Chikitsalaya, Ajay would still be in a wheelchair and would not be able to work in his family business today.

establishment in 2003, this hospital, which is completely free, has helped change the future of many
people who had otherwise lost hope of a normal life.
